Mark your calendars to check out a piece of our history in the making! A statue of Indigenous activist and humanitarian Billy Frank Jr. will be placed in National Statuary Hall. The half-size clay maquette, created by artist Haiying Wu, will be on display to the public at BIMA May 7-15, 2024. The full-scale statue will be cast in bronze and will stand over 9-feet tall, and is slated for installation in Washington, D.C. in 2025.
