Art in Action: Community Bookmaking
Past Event
Contribute to a collaborative artists book that explores our unique paths to community, connection, and home
Drop in and create while you’re visiting the art museum!
Join teaching artists in one of BIMA’s galleries as they guide hands-on projects designed for all ages. This month visitors are invited to experiment with collage using transparency and grayscale, creating artwork for a collaborative artist’s book exploring our unique paths to community, connection, and home.
Seattle’s Paper Press Punch will transform your artworks into the multicolored pages of a collaborative publication using Risograph printing. This artist’s book will be distributed as part of BIMA’s June 2022 LGBTQ Pride exhibition, and all are welcome to participate. No pre-registration is necessary for this free program.
Not able to make it to this event? Attend our free 4/6 Creativity Workshop for another chance to contribute.
