Narrated by Meryl Streep, this little low-key documentary tells the story of the town of North Adams, Massachusetts, and how it transformed from a dying post-industrial town that manufactured parts for nuclear weapons to become site for a thriving, world-renown contemporary art center called MASS MoCA. The film charts MASS MoCA’s unlikely success and its difficult road to opening its doors, along with some history of some its more famous installations.
