Bloedel Reserve Community Creatives Workshop with Len Eisenhood
Past Event
BIMA and Bloedel Reserve invite you to join Bloedel Community Creative Artist Len Eisenhood for a 3-part workshop on communicating the welcoming signs of nature through art-making.
Participants will be guided to communicate their encounters with nature in various modalities that meld direct experience of the known and unknown elements of the natural world, with imaginative and creative ones. Through walks, observation and recording, poetry, articles, discussion, and art-making, group members will be able to access the qualities of nature that also lie within themselves.
8 students maximum. Registration includes all three sessions and is free with one $25 Bloedel Reserve admission.
Len Eisenhood is one of Bloedel Reserve’s 2023 Community Creatives. After several decades of paper marbling, he utilizes his experience of classical and innovative marbling techniques to create papers that are richly beautiful and unique, each one possessing a synergy of intention and serendipity.
