10/4/24 – Loteria card making: Get ready to celebrate Día de los Muertos early by creating your very own Loteria card!
11/1/24 – Loom bracelets: Use a loom and embroidery thread to learn to make colorful bracelets. Inspired by artist Nikki Jabbora-Barber’s textile works on display at BIMA.
12/6/24 – Wood block snowflake cards on the provisional press: Come be inspired by the winter weather by creating your own snowflake print holiday card!
1/3/25 – Scratchboard drawing: Come and try your hand at making a scratchboard drawing—a type of direct engraving where an artist uses sharp tools to scratch away a dark ink layer on a surface to reveal a lighter color underneath.
2/7/25 – Basquiat Crowns: Celebrate Black History Month and an amazing Black artist by making a colorful, unique Jean-Michel Basquiat-inspired crown!
