BIMA Bash! 2024: Escape the Ordinary
A Message from Sheila Huges, Executive Director
If you know, you know!
To each of you wonderful art-lovers who made this weekend’s festive two-day BIMA Bash possible, you have our deepest appreciation! Your passion for art, commitment to community, and love of a great party makes great things happen! Because of you, Bainbridge Island Museum of Art was able to exceed our audacious fundraising goal of $700,000!
Every dollar you gave, every piece of artwork you donated, every volunteer hour you contributed… it all flows directly back into this broader community and keeps this beautiful building brimming with programs, art, culture and community, seven days a week and always FREE of admission. In a world so fraught with things that seem broken, anxious, or divisive, you just became a force to fight that; part of a positive, diverse and creative community.
This weekend’s amazing generosity was so impactful, but we know that for you, it’s just how you demonstrate your year-round, on-going love for this organization. On behalf of all the artists, students, guests, community members and organizations that BIMA supports, we love you back! Thank you for including us in your circle of caring, and we look forward to seeing you in the galleries, your studios, the Auditorium, and out in our beloved community.
Warmest,
Sheila Hughes
