Things are changing...

We’re in the midst of changing out all of BIMA’s galleries. This means that for the next couple of days, there maybe be limited (or no) access to the galleries. But have no fear! The BIMA Bistro and Museum Store are open from 10am-5pm for your enjoyment and there’s plenty of art to see in those two spaces too!

While our next exhibitions will officially open March 7, many of them will be available for viewing (even if slightly incomplete) much sooner, so feel free to stop by!

No stranger to BIMA, DJ Sidecar, aka Gary Bedell, returns for DogEar on First Friday! A graphic designer, photographer, and vinyl DJ, Gary spins an eclectic mix of classic funk, soul, hip hop, jazz, rock ‘n roll, and global grooves, bringing energy and rhythm to the night.

Deejay Hershe is an England-born, Florida-raised DJ shaped by her Jamaican-British roots and culture. Now based in Seattle, she’s known for her eclectic sound that seamlessly blends house, hip-hop, Amapiano, Afrobeat, disco, funk, and soul. Rooted in a mission to celebrate diversity and amplify marginalized voices, Hershe’s sets transcend the dance floor, creating spaces of joy, connection, and cultural celebration.
