Jazz with Jim – Jazz is Fusion
Past Event

BIMA’s Jazz with Jim lecture series teaches what to listen for and how to recognize defining stylistic characteristics, while simultaneously placing the amazing music within its social and historical context.

This session of Jim will explore the topic “Jazz is Fusion”—the pioneering musicians and ensembles, and those that have carried this endlessly creative genre forward.
