Entertaining, inspiring, and uplifting, Meet Me at the Movies is a FREE, interactive film program that celebrates the wonder of film and its ability to connect us with life’s experiences and imagination. Designed for people with memory loss and their care partners, this program can be enjoyed by all adults. Theme-based clips from classic and contemporary films are shown, followed by a lively audience conversation facilitated by Lea Lovelace of the Frye Art Museum and BIMA’s Jenna d’Anna.

Our winter Meet Me at the Movies program will feature film clips and inspired conversation on the theme of EXPLORATION, including David Lean’s 1962 epic cinematic masterpiece, Lawrence of Arabia; a film adaption of Tom Wolfe’s bestselling 1979 book on the history of the US space program, The Right Stuff; an inspiring documentary about Sylvia Earle and her Underwater Expeditions, Mission Blue; and travel guide and PNW local Rick Steeves will take us on a journey to Switzerland. Join us as we view and discuss clips of movies that transport us to diverse and exciting places.
