Preserving Salmon Migrations with Rob Purser
Past Event

Director of Fisheries for the Suquamish Tribe, Rob Purser, will speak to the life-cycle of salmon, the ways that the tribe protects and preserves their migration, and the relationship between the vitality of the salmon and the vitality of the Suquamish people.

By examining the colonial mindset that still directs our environmental policies, we hope to shed light on the cultural and environmental importance of salmon to the Suquamish people and our regional ecosystem.
