Featured Film – McQueen

2018 | 110 minutes

Fashion designer Alexander McQueen’s rags-to-riches story is a modern-day fairy tale laced with the gothic. Mirroring the savage beauty, boldness and vivacity of his designs, this documentary is an intimate revelation of McQueen’s world. While the fashion world came to understand that it had a genius on its hands, they hadn’t a clue with what to do with him.

“Behind the provocations in his designs was clear humanity, his garments the unfiltered expressions of his emotions and ideas.” – Kyle Turner, Village Voice
